“Out to See”
an interactive narrative
This short fictional adventure is an homage to story based games and a proposal for an interactive first-person puzzler that focuses on moral gameplay. It tackles some of social and psychological issues, provokes thought and encourages self-reflection.
Although in a form of a game, it is about serious things. It is my belief that games can have a much higher purpose than mere entertainment. They can be used as effective tools for both learning and teaching and offer distinctly strong emotional experiences that other types of media struggle to attain.
I want to thank my friend Antony for sharing his story and helping me craft it into something truly meaningful. Our many conversations were what inspired this project.
The narrative can be explored through multiple paths. I hope that you’ll enjoy it!
